ChatGPT will remember now...
Bonus: A chatbot that imitates the dead?
Hey, AIpreneurs!
Remember that friend who always asks "Wait, what were we talking about?" ChatGPT used to be that friend, but not anymore!
Here’s 3 sneak peeks of AI Creator today:
ChatGPT gets a memory boost!
Nvidia is now worth a whopping $1.83 trillion!
A chatbot that imitates the dead. Is it a good idea?
Let’s dive in! 🌊
ChatGPT gets a memory boost!
When AI chatbots came, the only drawback to training them was..”Only if the bot could remember the things we said”
Well, OpenAI heard you. Soon, you’ll be able to tell ChatGPT what to remember and what to forget. Yesterday, OpenAI began rolling out new “memory” controls for some ChatGPT free and paid users.
OpenAI lists several ways memory could be useful in a business context, like remembering tone, voice, and formatting preferences for blog posts and languages and frameworks for programming.
What if you don’t want it to store your chats?
The memory feature for both ChatGPT and GPTs can be disabled at any time from the ChatGPT settings menu
When it’s turned off, ChatGPT and GPTs won’t create or use memories.
From this same menu, you can view and delete specific memories or clear all memories.
There are exceptions though. OpenAI says it’s trained its system not to remember sensitive things like information about your health.
Nvidia is now the fourth most valuable company in the world worth a whopping $1.83 trillion!
Nvidia is now worth more than the tech giants: Amazon and Alphabet.
Here's the scoop:
Nvidia's stock soared to $1.83 trillion, narrowly edging out Alphabet's $1.82 trillion. This impressive feat comes just a day after Nvidia dethroned Amazon, solidifying its place as the world's fourth most valuable company.
Why the surge? Nvidia's dominance in the AI chip market, particularly with their H100 chip powering major LLMs (like ChatGPT!), is a key driver. They're even working on a next-gen H200 chip with even more muscle.
What’s more. Big tech rivals like Intel and AMD are hot on Nvidia's heels, developing their powerful chips. Even more intriguing, Nvidia invested a whopping $30 billion to help other companies build their custom AI chips! So basically, even if rivals like Intel and AMD catch up, Nvidia might still get a piece of the pie.
This marks a significant shift in the tech landscape, fueled by the booming demand for AI chips.
Other big news: Nvidia just released Chat with RTX, a free chatbot demo that can run leading open-source models locally on Windows RTX PCs, with the ability to analyze process responses based on a user's own files and data without needing the internet.
